- Born in 1966
- 1986 – 1995: Law studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich, law clerkships in Munich and Sydney
- 1991 – 1995: Fellowship at the Max-Planck-Institute for Foreign and International Patent, Copyright and Competition Law
- 1993: doctoral degree (Dr. jur.) from Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Gerhard Schricker, on the subject of “Deutsche Einigung und Urheberrecht” [German Unification and Copyright]
- March, 1995: admitted to the bar in Munich
- 1995 – 1996: successful completion of LL.M degree program at the University of California, Berkeley with a scholarship from the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst
- 1997 – 1998: lawyer (senior civil servant status, Regierungsrat z.A.) in the telecommunications department of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Transport and Technology, Munich
- since 1998 practice of law in Frankfurt (including at Clifford Chance and as head of IT and telecommunications law practice group at Haarmann Hemmelrath) and in Munich
- June, 2008: Certified specialist attorney for information technology law
- July, 2011: Founding partner of TCI Rechtsanwälte in Munich
- Since September 2017: Assistant lecturer of the law faculty of Georg-August-University Göttingen
